The City of Waterford requires building permits for work being done within the City limits.

Example of projects that require a building permit:

    Any structure over 120 sq. ft.                      Roof overlays and repairs

    Any structure with electricity                      Re-Stucco or replacing siding

    Swimming pools                                       Windows (making larger or smaller) 

    Changing out of Electrical panel                 Changing out Water Heater

Inspections are done Monday through Friday, no appointments are taken. Please call 24 hours in advance to be placed on the inspection list (209) 874-2328.
