SEWER UTILITY BILLING
The City of Waterford bills for sewer service each month in the amount of $27.64 if you are connected to the city sewer line. The monthly service fee is due by the last day of each month.
The City’s charge to hook up to the sewer line is $2,300.00, or $2,500.00 depending on which area of town you reside in.
For new residents moving into a home that is already hooked up to the City sewer line there is a one time deposit fee of $55.28 and an account set-up fee of $25.00. If you have a good payment-history for 2 years, you may put in a request to have your deposit of $55.28 refunded back to you.
WATER UTILITY BILLING
The City of Waterford bills for water service each month for the River Pointe Subdivision only. Water is metered at a rate of $1.33/100 cu. Ft. with a flat monthly charge of $12.90. There will also be a $100.00 deposit.
The City of Modesto serves all other areas of town through the Water Services Division which is responsible for operating and maintaining the City’s drinking water system including meter reading, water line construction, water sampling, and pump maintenance. The City’s water system includes former Del Este Water Company systems in Empire, Salida, Waterford, Hickman, Grayson, Del Rio, and portions of Ceres and Turlock. There are over 76,000 water connections, approximately 1,000 miles of water lines, 119 water wells, seven water tanks, one surface water treatment facility, and one terminal storage area in the water system.
