Regional Early Action Planning Grant (REAP)
City of Waterford Infrastructure Design Project
The City of Waterford received $35,462.50 through the 2019 Regional Early Action Planning (REAP) Grant Program, administered by the California /Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) and passed through The Stanislaus Council of Governments. This one-time funding supports local governments in accelerating housing production and implementing strategies to meet the state’s housing goals.
The City of Waterford’s project consisted of design of sewer and water infrastructure on Tim Bell Road from existing facilities at Yosemite Boulevard to Vineyard Road. The activity will support the goals of meeting the State’s housing goals. The grant funds were used for the topographic and design work for the project. Construction was completed on the project in late 2024. The infrastructure project in total was close to $2.5 million with the REAP Funds providing $35,642.50.
