October 17 through October 24, 2016, has been declared “Second Chance Week” within Stanislaus County. In partnership with the City of Modesto, the Dept. of Environmental Resources will be placing collection containers at all the county libraries. These collection containers will be used to collect new and gently used baby clothes during “Second Chance Week”, which is an opportunity for residents to reuse and reduce.
Last year was an overwhelming success and we hope to replicate that success again this year. All donations will be picked up on Tuesday, October 25, and will be donated to the Modesto Pregnancy Center, the Center for Human Services, the Salvation Army, Cal SAFE and the Modesto Gospel Mission.
