WHAT IS MEASURE L

Measure L is a 25-year, ½ cent sales tax approved by Stanislaus County voters by an overwhelming 71.95% in November of 2016. Measure L provides funding for local transportation improvements including, but not limited to: fixing potholes and maintaining streets; improving emergency response; providing safe routes to schools; providing senior, veterans and disabled shuttle services; and improving safety and reducing traffic congestion on Highway 99 and major streets.

HOW WILL THE CITY OF WATERFORD USE THE MEASURE L FUNDS

Waterford developed a list of streets in need of maintenance and repairs for inclusion in our expenditure plan. The expenditure plan may be modified from time to time as needs and as priorities change. For example, priorities may change when we look at other factors like city and private utility work or grant funding availability. Projects funded or will be funded in the future in accordance with the current expenditure plan are as follows:
